The road in to the Aztec Ruins boondocking area is Dirt. Alien Run Mountain Bike Trail consists of two looped mountain bike trails that cover over 26 miles. The original loop and the Outer Limits trail circle around a rumored UFO crash site. Dispersed camping is allowed in the area.

Best Review:

Flat gravel lot with vault toilet and covered picnic tables. Yes, there’s a plant maybe 1/4 mile away. I didn’t find it extremely loud, background music on low volume completely covers it and my Reflextic shades blocked every bit of light. Don’t plan on using the vault toilet. Almost 3 miles from highway on hard packed dirt road…well maintained. Usable Verizon service.

This is a great spot and definitely setup for mountain bikers.  The trails are great and even though this is a plant close by it is free and simple.
