This was such a quaint and quiet little place. Very spacious and secluded. I arrived Friday morning and there were two campsites left. I stayed two days. Close to Hebgen Lake, which was absolutely stunning and fun to play in.

Located just 25 minutes northwest of West Yellowstone. Drive north out of West Yellowstone taking then 191 North until a junction where you take the 287 West (left turn), which may also be called Hebgen Lake Rd. You will pass Hebgen Lake on your left, and eventually get to a right-hand turn toward Beaver Creek, also known as Forest Service 985. Beautiful camp site.

Best Review:

Loved this site. It is full on bear country, so I confess to disrupting the peace and quiet with very loud rock music while I set up my camp. But there was no one in any of the other sites to be bothered by it. Easily accessible in my KIA Soul. Well defined campsites with fire rings and bear warnings. So peaceful and feels remote, but is convenient to Yellowstone if you are looking for a place close by.
