Best Review:

Just finished up 2 nights here at this Craters Of The Moon boondocking location. $7.50 a night with my senior pass. We got a pull thru site, #8, which is just inside the main camping area on the right. Paved spot with a nice solid concrete picnic and a charcoal BBQ grill which we couldn’t use due to fire restrictions. Walk to the visitors center. Easy to hike all the trails in the park in 2 days. It was HOT when we were there, late July, over 100°. Campground was clean and quiet. Pit toilets were close to our site, very clean, and also a water hydrant was nearby. There are dumpsters for trash. Watch the ground squirrels! I chased one out of the engine bay in my truck. Skies were smoky from the distant fires. Overlooks would’ve been much prettier had the skies been clear. Verizon cell was nonexistent at camp, very spotty and weak in some areas of the park. All in all a very nice campground but I sure wish there was cell service.

Price $15 Night
