|The road in is Dirt and 0.1 miles from a paved road. There are 6-15 campsites at this location.
The Kolob Terrace Road Boondocking area was a beautiful campsite by the creak and we had a great night of camping, the location and scenery is stellar. However, based on other reviews we felt it was safe to leave our tent and coolers during the following day while we hiked and explored in Zion National Park. When we returned to the campsite, we found all the beer stolen out of our cooler with some of the cans left behind with bullet holes through them.
Bullet shells were scattered across the campsite and our tent had been rummaged through and much of our stuff had been thrown around the site. As far as we could tell only a sleeping bag stuff sack was stolen (maybe to carry the beer?) but it was concerning to say the least, especially since I had my kids with me. We packed up camp and stayed in an overpriced hotel in Springdale. I would not camp here again and would not recommend to anyone worried about safety or anyone who is camping with the family.
