Lahontan Cutthroat Natural Area Boondocking

The Lahontan Cutthroat Natural Area Boondocking area is a free campstie that is only open from April through October. During that time there is unlimited free dispersed camping in this BLM area. First come -> First Camped. Reservations not accepted. You cannot make a reservation for this site but there is always plenty of space for everyone.

The Lahontan Cutthroat Tout Natural Area Instant Study Area (12,316 acres) straddles the north end of the Black Rock Range. It is an outstandingly beautiful area with its running water, large stands of quaking aspen, willow and mahogany trees, lush meadows, colorful rock formations and good populations of wildlife.
