The famous Little A'Le'Inn in Alamo, Nevada is locatd on a paved road. Every boondocker should do the stop for a night at least once just for the novelty. Little A'Le'Inn is open Year-Round. There are 30 or more campsites at this location and the maximum RV length is unlimited. You may stay for a few nights and it is fine. Ask at the Inn for more. at Little A'Le'Inn.
This is a large gravel parking lot in Rachel, Nevada, located opposite the Little A'Le'Inn. Space for numerous devices of all sizes. Excellent location from which to enjoy all the excitement of the eccentric Extraterrestrial Highway, including a brief drive to the Black Mailbox and Area51 gates. Go grab the Alien Head Geocache in the afternoon, then stop by the inn for a Saucer Burger and an Alien beverage in the evening... and keep an eye out for those lights at night:)
This restaurant on the way to Area 51 and other Nevada locations known to attract extraterrestrials has been in operation for over 20 years and has every piece of alien memorabilia imaginable. Stop by for a bite to eat or a souvenir, and the friendly staff will also recommend the finest vantage points for stargazing!
On April 18, 1996, 20th Century Fox dedicated a time capsule to serve as a beacon for visitors interested in distant constellations, Nevada, and the "extraterrestrial highway." It will open in the year 2050 A.D. By that time, interplanetary travelers will be frequent visitors to our planet.
