North Wildhorse RA Campsite

The North Wildhorse RA Campsite is open May-Nov. The maximum RV length at North Wildhorse RA is 24 feet. This campsite is located within the District of the Bureau of Land Management. Wildhorse Reservoir is a significant year-round fishery in northeastern Nevada that also offers excellent ice fishing from December to early March. Popular summer activities include boating, shore fishing, water skiing, and wind surfing due to the temperate climate.

There are 18 campsites with tables, fire rings, barbecues, tree or shade ramadas, three group sites, vault toilets, hand pump water, no hookups, and a 24-foot maximum trailer length. Camping (single site) is $10.00 per night, Camping (double site) is $20.00 per night, and Camping (group site) is $40.00 per vehicle per night. Per vehicle, day use costs $5.00 per day. In close proximity are scenic drives, mountain bicycling, and snowmobiling opportunities.

Directions

From Elko, travel north 70 miles on State Highway 225. The campground is located on the north side of the road.
