Stevens Camp BLM Nevada Boondocking

The road into the Stevens Camp BLM Nevada Boondocking area is dirt and gravel. The maximum RV length at Stevens Camp is 27 feet. This free campsite is located within the Bureau of Land Management Surprise District.
Visitors can reserve a desert cabin at the Steven's Camp Recreation Area on a first-come, first-serve basis. The cabin is located in a unique location, surrounded by desert rims and expansive meadows. It is heated with wood and has a propane range for heating. There are connections for generators and propane containers to power the electric lights and stove. The cabin has a kitchen/community room in addition to two tiny bunk rooms. The recreation area is separated from livestock by a fence. In close proximity to the cabin are horse corrals, primitive campsites, and the Upper High Rock Canyon Trail.

Steven's Camp is located on the North side of High Rock Canyon Wilderness and High Rock Canyon Area of Critical Environmental Concern, 11 miles S of Nevada Highway 8A, and approximately 55 miles E of Cedarville CA in northern Washoe County, Nevada.
