The road into the Telephone Cove Dispersed Camping location is dirt and aprox. 4 miles miles from a paved road. Telephone Cove is open year round. You cannot make a reservation for this site but there is usually plenty of space for everyone. There are 30 or more campsites at this location and no length limits.

You may stay 7 days at Telephone Cove. Due North of Laughlin,Nevada.well maintained dirt road.From Laughlin take highway 122 west toward Searchlight. Pass the Needles highway on the left and the Telephone Cove road will be a couple thousand feet on the right. Nice beach, a few trees. Hike to pictographs up Christmas Tree Road a little further West on 122.

The Nevada Telephone Cove Dispersed Camping location a great place to go swimming, fishing, or boating in the great outdoors. There is more than one trail to explore, so hikers won't be let down. Cottonwood Cove Resort & Marina also offers houseboat rentals, so you may camp out, sunbathe, and have delicious picnics on the beautiful sand beach.

TheTelephone Cove Dispersed Camping location is a beautiful location for a day trip. Set aside some time to enjoy yourself and unwind, what with there being a route to hike and open area to investigate. Cottonwood Cove Resort & Marina has houseboat rentals available.


If you come from Laughlin, head west on Highway 163 for about 4.4 miles. Then, turn northeast on Nevada Telephone Cove Road and drive about 4.3 miles to Lake Mohave, and you will get to the camping area. If you are heading to the campsite from Las Vegas, go south towards Laughlin, get on Highway 95 and turn left to Highway 163 after driving for about 53 miles.
