Price $8 Night America the Beautiful passThere are 30 or more campsites at this location. You may stay 14 days at Rocky Bluff. Rocky Bluff Campground offers solitude in a wooded setting and is located 3 miles south of Hot Springs. The 1.2 mile Spring Creek Nature Trail circles the campground and meanders beside the creek, an excellent trout stream. This campground closes for the year on September 6th and reopens May 24th.
Site 13 is awesome. Would have loved 14, but too much poison ivy on the path leading to the site nestled in the woods. The tent pads are beautifully made with stone walls for sides. Our 10 x 12 tent barely fit.
This would be a great spot for several families that know each other as the center of the campground is more open but shaded. Envision circle with sites on the outside and inside. They are a bit close for our taste, but 13 and 14 are the best and it was not crowded even with it being 4th of July. (there were fireworks in Hot Springs) Bathrooms do have mirrors, soap, paper towels and flush toilets.
Not the newest, but clean. Spigot for water source. The Spring Creek nature Trail takes you to the creek in 20-30 minutes depending on which end you start the loop. There is a spot with a bit of sand/rock to put a couple chairs while the kids play in the water.
